Rope incense is handcrafted in Nepal where it has been used since ancient times during purification rituals and ceremonies in Buddhist temples.

This type of incense is made with medicinal aromatic herbs that are harvested by hand and then left to dry in the sun in a completely natural way in order to preserve their aroma intact; the ingredients are then wrapped in sheets of totally vegetable paper in order to form small strings. It is therefore an absolutely natural and completely ecological product.
